Yes I believe it is... He told me that he had only run a tank or two but he also told me it was no more then 1 and a half years old.....

You can't see it in this pic but if I zoom in on it you can see every line on the piston....

One last thing here my wife just left for the shop to get my box of Christmas parts........................

Kinda hard to date a saw from born on date to sale date...But after looking at the screen and piston I am a believer! lol
Oh is it going to be a early x-mass this eve?

No I have to wait...Women lol.............

Just have your local shop run the number... They can at least tell the day it was sold and to who..... Now be careful cause a saw listed as stolen may throw a red flag......

The family is growing...

I think there is room for one more on the bottom shelf!

I'd a sold a good running muff modded 290 for $ 225.00, but traded for a nice 026 instead. No offense, but I'm not a 290 fan. A C
Nice saw BTW.

I liken them to my 038 av..The 38 has a little more grunt but the 290 are a lot lighter...

Really? I'm not tryin' to be smart a** here, but my 290 was muff modded/retuned & ran pretty well, but the 034 super would walk all over it. Will your 290 pull 3/8 18" buried. Mine seemed to do the best @ .325 16". Not that it matters now, just curious. A C
