There are some pretty awesome new stoves on the market and moving old stoves is hard. I would look at this as an opportunity to upgrade!

I am on my first year of being amazed by my new Blaze King. I grew up with open fireplaces and pre-EPA stoves, and I am not kidding when I say modern stoves have come a long way in terms of performance and ease of use.

It's hard to overstate how much more useful a woodstove is when you can rely upon it to make heat for 12 hours while you're at work or asleep.

There are still people out there suffering with stoves that "only" offer 8 hour burntimes max. I can't imagine all that fussing with reloading, cold mornings, extra wood consumption, extra smoke, extra kindling, wasted time, etc. Burntimes are of extremely high importance to those that want to sleep all night and for those that leave their homes to work.
