I have an old mini buck stove and last year the blower motor went out. I had the blower motor replaced but I turned it on for the first time this evening and noticed that while on low it will stop and I didn't know if it was a temperature regulator safe mechanism or something along those lines but then it comes back on but the lights in the living room flicker when it happens. I turned it on high for a while and it hasn't happened since I have no experience with this any information would be helpful.

The old Bucks had different windings on the motor for each speed. Snap switches controlled the speed depending on the stove temperature. I wonder if it was the right motor and if it was wired properly.
