Ours seem to stick around all summer. Like some kinda plague.

The weather has been miserable here for almost a month now, but any hints of nice weather is starting to bring them out in bursts. The explosion is going to happen the next nice day - which looks like will be this whole weekend. Uggh.

Why bats and some birds are essential. A bat will eat about 1200 insects an hour. Try putting up nest boxes for swallows and some bat boxes.

Thanks for the tip, I feel like I can hear bat's at night sometimes. In the south you could see them at dusk if you were lucky. The song birds were out in force yesterday diving after the bugs.
