How does that stove heat for you with it in the fireplace? I am thinking of doing the same thing with mine with the same stove. Did you have to cut the damper?

Last year with it fully in the fireplace it was ok, but we can definitely tell the difference now with it moved about a foot further out. I would do whatever you can get it out into the room a little. We didn't have to cut the damper, we were lucky enough that the liner just barely slid through.
