So I completed my Supervent install this weekend. I have a Jotul Oslo that was going through an 8 inch class A chimeny above the ceiling and through the roof. I finally replaced this with the Selkirk Supervent setup from Lowes. I thought the quality was good. I recommend you check all contents prior to purchase as the chimeny pipe can get dented easily. I purchased the flat ceiling kit and three lengths of 3 inch pipe. I of course grabbed a 10% coupon from the web. This made it quite affordable. The whole package cost $355 with tax. The roof flashing had the slots at the top which I wasn't thrilled about. I know Simpson does it differently (no slots, just gaps the top). I wonder if there will be any leakage in a hard rain. The roof pitch is about 4/12 so it shouldn't be too bad. I gave the top of the storm collar a bead of hi temp silicone.
