Well, this morning at 6am, temp was only -8. I'm relieved. No frozen pipes, the house was at 66 degrees with my stove on a medium setting. The Hamer's burned nice and hot in a freshly cleaned out stove. Oil clicked on a few times to help keep my pipes flowing. It's now just after 8am and we're a notch below zero with the faintest of a N breeze. Next couple of days rain!

Better go check on the birds and rabbits.

It is -4 degrees in our neck of the woods this morning. The MVAE is set at manual mode and high heat output (5). The thermostat set back to 65 degrees at night and steps up to 70 degrees at 6:30. I have been running it set at 72 during the day because the far end of the house was getting chilly.
The stove sucked down a full hopper (approx 40 lbs) in the past 8 hours. Averages out to 42,500 BTU/hr. That's not a complaint, just an observation. The stove is too hot to stand in front of to fill the hopper this morning. That's a complaint.

A balmy +28 F going to +38 today here in Missouri before the bottom falls out. 7"-13" snow predicted tonight into Sunday. Sunday night & Monday night lows of -10. Living in a rural area we are usually 2-4 degrees colder than forecast. High Monday of -4. Just started a fresh ton of Greenways. My P38 (which supplements my geothermal), is keeping my 1800 square foot partially finished basement a toasty 70-73 degrees.

-9 on the deck this morning when I got up, 71 in the house.
I'm loving my P43
