I finally made it back to the PE dealer today and put down my deposit on the Super. When she was setting up the install appt. she asked the question, do you want single wall or double wall?? I admit, this was something I had not even thought about, I just figured the installation folks would cover that detail. My rough measurements I took indicated to me I have all the clearance necessary to run single wall, besides the clearance, is there any reason I should consider the double over single? I obviously like the price of the single a lot more!

Feeling the Heat
I did lots of research and had a hard time deciding between a PE Super and a Lopi Endeavor. Both are excellent and I am sure you will enjoy for many years to come!! Good choice.
Regarding blowers - I wouldn't bother with a blower. You very likely won't need one, and if it turns out you do you can always add one.
Yup, that's what I decided. I can always add one later. Plus, the house has a heat pump and the return is in the ceiling about 3' from the stove location, so I figure I can always run the systems fan to help circulate heat.
Anyone have a recommendation for what stove thermometer I should buy for the Super?

We had a Lopi Answer NT, the smallest stove Lopi made, for almost 20 years.
When I bought it the salesman actually talked me out of the blower.
It has heated our 1400 sg. ft. rancher really well.
Made well, held up great - a new air tube, firebricks, and gaskets are all I've had to do.
Used first freestanding, then for 15 years as an insert.
Will be using the Ideal Steel Hybrid this year.

Check your local building/fire codes. Usually, the air return should be at least 10 ft away from a wood stove.
The Condar Inferno stove thermometer is well-liked here. Or get an infrared thermometer that can also be helpful at other places around the house.
