I have a Jotul NR380 group of parts that are all in good condition, no cracks or chips- EXCEPT for the TOP (cracked in the hourglass-shaped portion between the burn plates), and the latch side inner firebox side plate (has been welded several times and has multiple cracks). I have attempted to braze with bronze filler, silver filler metals; and weld these cracks with nickel N99 rod. The cast is too thin to weld and 56% silver is the best option, but it only lasted a year before the same crack opened up again.
So in short, I give up on this stove. The inner firebox side plates are interchangeable Left or Right side. If someone can use these parts for their Lumberjack you can have them. The stove is currently in pieces. Obviously, due to the weight, it would be costly to ship all the pieces. The stove parts are in Edgar WI if you would like to pick them up.
