I'm installing a 1987 Jotul 3-TD and I'm interested if anyone has a photo of the factory heat shield installed. There are two locations at the rear bottom casting that appear to be where the heat shield would rest but nothing near the top to attach. The heat shields were relatively low cost so they can't be that complicated.
Another question I have on this stove is top doesn't appear to fastened to anything per the manual. Surprised that gravity is only holding it on.
