Stove is used with a bit over $400 or B/O price. Bit of a drive to pick up. Upper baffles are shot. Rest of this heater looks decent. My favorite color too, Blue enamel. I would also need to buy the adapter for top exit.
Parts hard to acquire for this?

If the baffle is shot I’m guessing I needs a rebuild. Baffle is probably $350-$450. I’m guess the blue color may be the hardest part to find but you probably can get the top outlet (blue wasn’t sold for too many years).

Seller reached out and lowered to $360 via email alert. I never even responded to ad.
Wish it wasn't so abused. Love that blue.

IS that a factory cover for the glass? I rebuilt a Hearthstone H1 that had similar damage and it turned out great. Can you still get parts, or do you have to scavenge used parts? Maybe throw him a $200 offer and make it a project?

I found my re-build thread:

I'm in agreeance with bgreen's post above. It's obviously been run hard, and I was thinking in the same lines of the rest of the casting's integrities. One thing I don't need is another lawn ornament.
I'll read your thread anyways. Something to do on this bitter cold day while keeping the wood furnace fed.

If you were closer to NJ i'd sell you my jotul 3. Blue / Black In excellent condition except for the back which needs to be replaced as the flue collar rusted from a longtime sporadic chimney water drip.

If I had a reliable truck, I'd take that ride. The extra in fuel expense is worthy of buying from a well known member.
May hit you up on that come early summer. Gotta see how everything pans out.

Were ya hanging out at now? Utah or NJ? My girl is showing me every Marketplace find that pops up. Lot's of junk out there. I may have to make a trip sooner than later.

I’ve been heating our house with a 3cb for 25+ years. I can’t imagine how badly that stove had to be over fired to end up in that condition. I wouldn’t pay more than scrap value for that.
Yup, I passed.

Mostly NJ, i'll get some pics.

As noted, it's a pre-EPA F3, not an F3CB.

Correct, original 3.
Just edited the pics to make that more clear.

And as stated previously -
"Blue / Black In excellent condition except for the back which needs to be replaced as the flue collar rusted from a longtime sporadic chimney water drip."
