Nice post Warren,

I am wondering if some of the Veterans would care to make a small betting pool as to what date the first "newbie" will chime in on how his"seasoned" wood, (from a shady "dealer") doesn't burn. I'm guessing October 31st. Scarey thought , betting.

It will go sort of like this... I need advise on my new stove... I paid a fortune for this thing and the dealer screwed me. It doesn't produce any heat at all and it's a Pacific England model Super 30 extra with an 8 cubic ft firebox. I stuffed it full of wood and I should get a 30 hour burn time, but it just smoulders and doesn't heat my 10,000 sqft mcmansion. What's wrong. Should I call the State Attorney Generals office or perhaps Geroge W Bush?

After much research, a 50/50 mix of corn and pellet goes straight up the pipe, until it hits the 90, then it starts spinning counter clock wise until it is out of the vent. Go figure. Smells like roasted corn on a wood fire too. Good post Warren, I've got some elm for you, but shipping may be a problem. Esp when it's green. Best time of year is fall, nip in the air, walleye bite back on, apples, maple syrup, a warm fire whether it be on the shore or in the basement, feather bed. Nice.
