When I move it I’ll either use a Hand truck with moving blankets or a small motorcycle jack that is on wheels. If you don’t have either you might consider a 1000 lb capacity movers dolly. Here is 1 from Harbor freight. You can also rent a good hand truck from Home Depot.

My brother in law has a good hand truck and a movers dolly, Ill have to get him here. My idea was to slide two 2x4's through the pallet and four guys each grab a corner and carry it, not sure of that would work and I would have to get 2 more guys in addition to my BIL.
He was over yesterday but forgot the hand truck, so I anxiously wait. My liner was shipped yesterday so I should get that this week.

thanks for the reply
Let them put it on their shoulders & carry it on like the King that it is. :)
John has a Princess insert, but it's still no small light weight!

John,
With that dolly and/or a good industrial hand truck, a ratchet strap, and couple of guys should be able to make quick work of getting her in place.

How tall was that package? I wonder if it would fit in a jeep or would I need a trailer?

Trailers suck if it rains. Mine is an open flatbed. + It's a 3hr drive to the nearest BK dealer from here.

best way to move that here is hire my 6 latino buddies. They'll place it anywhere in a house for a case of coronas and 3 limes.

The King Ultra sits a little over 38". Add another 6" or so for the pallet/top packaging.

It's not going to fit in the jeep. Use a trailer and bungee a tarp around it if there is rain in the forecast.

I'm waiting on 1 section of double wall pipe and the install will begin. Hopefully without modifying a door way. The first door it has to go through is about 1 1/2" to narrow.

Crap, your right I think. You gonna go double wall off the stove top? I wanted to maybe employ a stack robber. I don'tt think I've seen one for double wall. I would have to google it later.

And if the doorway is an 1.5" narrow wouldn't u have to remove the side jambs? Hope it's not an exterior door, that would be even harder I would think.

I'm Still waiting on a section of stove pipe but I got it through the doors and it now sits next to my hearth. Pics to come later of the moving process.

The reported stack temps in that stove are pretty low already. The manual recommends double wall and no elbows for a minimum of 36" above the stove.

A cursory search leads me to believe there is no robber for double wall and the low pipe temps make the whole arrangment sound like a bad (and dangerous) idea.

I got an industrial hand truck from my brother in law, he's supposed to come over later today with a moving dolly to help me get it in place. Hope to get my baby burning this week.

What are you going to rob??? The flue is fairly cool to begin with...

Here are some pics of moving this beast. 1) I tilted the stove on end and slid a motorcycle jack under it. 2) Modified door way so I could get the stove through. (Non load bearing wall) 3) Repaired door way after getting it into other room. You can see it sitting next to my pool table. 4) Simply rolled it through the other door way without modification into hearth room where you see it sitting. 5)Tilted it down on to a short 2x10 on hearth next to old stove. Big size difference 6) Used a second 2x10 and slid it across the hearth into position and hooked it up.
