It's a pretty good pilsner, But I still prefer the Busch Light! Timber heat on Prom Night = Warm wood!!

Since it's the only thing i've burned so far, i really don't have much to compare to. I'm still working on 'tweeking' my stove. it puts out decent heat, i can't comment on how clean it burns, i have nothing to compare it to...... Here is a pic of my burn pot.

Eric, I was blowing through pellets like crazy. 2 bags a day. settings 6-4-1 and 1-1, the Timber Heat pellets were really small and it seemed the auger was completely filled every turn and over feeding the pot. I've sinced adjusted to 4-5-1 and 2-1 and i'm using about 1.25 bags and the flame is a nice bright yellow and white/blue

Trust me I know, last week i recieved 2 fishing reels that someone tried to 'fix' they were both in baggies, if you know what i mean.

But you being someone that has a clue, would you say that was the correct 'tweek'?

Every stove and exhaust set-up is different....sounds like you went in the right direction. Might even want to try 3-5-1, or even 3-4-1. The key is to have enough airflow (LBA) so the ash is getting blown out of the burn pot, but not so fast all the heat goes up the exhaust before the heat exchanger pulls it out. Keep that nice whitish-orange lively flame with a hint of blue at the base, and you should be fine.

Give the stove about 15-20 minutes after each change for the stove to stabilize.

Keep the blower speed the same or above the heat setting.

AFAIR, the PDVC also has an adjustable feed slide in the bottom of the hopper....maybe close that down a little too.
