Got a mystery Wood in my recent load. Very hard very heavy. Smoothish bark. Definitely not cherry or hickory. Thoughts?

The apple I know is brighter inside and doesn't have spalting like this, nor the reddish colors.

Indeed different kinds of apple wood. Especially evident with all the different apples.
