WOW!

Doing a Google search, fun fact, it takes over 900 tires to move that thing. What a massive undertaking!

Pic from MSN (I tried for a localish site but all of them wanted more rights than I wanted to give, or a log in).

Dutch company, that!
I saw their marine cranes towering above everything else from 13 miles away when I was in college.

Holy economy of scale Batman!

A few smaller reactors would be somehow less cost effective?

I just googled it. The Great Pyramid weighs about 10 billion pounds. So only about 3000x as much as this reactor. <>

Not sure the reason on why they are so big? I know there's been similar sized units built and moved in China as well.

Was talking to the crew moving in some equipment to the mine I worked at years ago, often they only need 2-3 trucks to move forward but need an additional 2-3 trucks for braking depending on the terrain.
