Thank you for coming forward with this and I am going to do the best of my ability to sort all of this out and its hard for there are so many different opinions out there but constant buzzing sounds and noises are plentiful in the world but this particular one at this particular time I will check out..When my girlfriend calls to check on me after my car accident this morning I am going to ask her to do me a favorite--drive me to her house and let me have a cup of tea or something or even maybe go out to breakfast in a different area to see if I still hear this sound because it is very annoying, I would drive her but my vehicle needs some attention and I do not trust it because the whole side is dented--how terrible but it could have been so much worse and I am fine but anyway I will get out to go to breakfast and see if I can still hear the sounds---hate to think it is me---but it might be--so I am investigating this first...lol Thanks for the post..clancey

If it's a low pitched humming or buzzing noise, that can come from electrical equipment especially transformers. I saw your thread the other day with pictures of the busted open meter can on a pole that appeared to be still energized. Not sure what the deal is with that, but if as you said the noise stopped when the disconnect was flipped off, and then started again, I would have to assume it's related to that equipment somehow. Whatever is powered by that meter box could be overloaded or have a defective component in it. Even something like a loose bolt on a transformer pad can make it rattle until your ears fall off even though it's not technically defective. Unfortunately, getting the utility to come and fix something like that in a timely manner can be a pain.

Is there any way you could take a video to record the noise and post it here. Walk around the area while recording to pinpoint where it's loudest. That would be immensely helpful in figuring out the puzzle.

I was going to ask about recording sounds--you read my mind for I heard some sounds from people posting on here..Today is a strange day the electricity has went off twice with "cracking noises" and my generator came on and I looked out the door both times and no one around that 5G light pole and it is still crooked looking-no trucks or anything but electricity off twice so far...I am going out to lunch today to my friends house in another area and I will see if I still here the buzzing there because if so then I might have tinnitus or something so I am going to check this out today...To make sure its not "Me". It could be that all these issues have nothing to do with 5G and everything to do with very bad and potentially dangerous workmanship. Report the outages.

Well the 5G plate is still on crooked and nobody checked it out as far as I can tell...I have some bad news here--I went to lunch with my girlfriend in a real quiet area and I still heard the buzzing and ringing sounds..She came here to take me to lunch and at my house "she heard nothing"..so that means that I might very well have tinnitus a ear problem and need to go see a hearing doctor to check it out..I still am going to do research on my house to see what types of energies are flowing through it and i will get one of those meters to help me figure it out and share the results with you all in due time...I had another thread on here but I guess it got lost because I cannot find it--maybe it did not post right --no big deal anyway...In the meanwhile I will watch that pole to see when they will fix the crooked plate. My girlfriend has a beautiful home and today I saw all the chalk in blue and white and other colors going all up her street and she told me they sent notices that they are going to update all the poles and water and sewer line as well as telecommunications and the work will be finished in August.. Not a mention of 5G but "I think that's what they are doing putting that in" and just think with this little thread maybe we will all be updated on 5G and find ways to lessen it on our health....Just a thought here...c

What makes you think that pole has anything to do with 5g? I am pretty sure if they were installing 5g they would advertise it.

This is getting stuperer (new word here) by the minute. The energy company called me and told me that my house wires were fine and the wood pole in the back was also fine for they checked today..I called back and spoke with a nice man by the name of Matt and he said that the pole he knew nothing about and they need to find out who is responsible for that 5G Pole..I said they should have never left that front plate crooked with wires open to everything there and the lever that you shut it off with is crammed by the plate so you could not shut it off if you wanted to and it has some kind of warning notes on it as well. He agreed with me that they should have not left it like that if that is what they did and we need to find out who is responsible kind of suggesting for me to find out but then corrected himself and said that he will have someone check into it..Will try to get a picture on here of a 5G light pole and this is the exact image of that one---Yes it is 5G..c

Thanks for the replies and for now I am going to work with this and find out ways to shield my home from this 5 G...Kennyp 2339 your response is just not adequate and stay in my house especially overnight for a week and you will have a very different attitude--experienced electrical utility worker or not and for now it does not affect you but sleep with that buzzing whole vibrating noise all night and all day and never having quiet and never having relief from it...So keep getting kudos from your fellow forum poster and denigrate what I am trying to say and warn you all so start fighting it now in your committee's and townships or whatever...because it is coming to your front door whether you like it or not--eventually--someone would make some money having a 5 G Free Community...In the meanwhile I am going to start a new thread to discuss this aspect of life further....Right now I am checking out the 5 G defensive paint so I can begin my war to make my home safer so that I can enjoy my beautiful stove...The first thing I need to do now is buy a meter that tells me whats happening in my home for I am just too old to move and most likely fighting my last battle---but you people have children do research and see what I am saying is true .I am starting a new thread now with the appropriate name....Thanks N....clancey

Thank you Don2222 for that information..and I checked into other types of metals too and you are on the right track but I am worried about the lightening strikes if they should hit a building insulated in metal..but then again they have the metal roofs maybe you would need a electric rod or something on them going into the ground or something--don't know at this point..I did manage to take a few trips out to some "so called quiet places"---no more--I can hear the low hum buzz and if I had to describe it after one gets used to it sounds like water pipes letting off air but in a low sound way..metallic kind of sound like a ding without the ding--very strange noise..This is coming nation-wide and they are putting these small towers in really quick..There is a neat video on u-tube about "cob houses" that I found very interesting..The few things that I have done is to shut my wifi off at night time and i am checking into hard wiring my laptop to see if this is possible because I have DLS and copper lines (old way) through choice and this I think would help with this effort to fight this battle from my home and I am just too old to move at this point, So far I got rid of my extension phone that needs recharging and I am using a old phone that I plug into a phone jack for the extension--not that this helps but I feel like I am doing "something" until I buy that magnetic counter and electric reader as well as other types of energy..We get magnetic energy and storms from the sun a lot of times but this they say is man made energy and different. People in areas with less people and more nature might have some time but its coming even in those areas in the future.. The sad part about all of this in my opinion "Our world is becoming very noisy" and there will be no more "silence" so enjoy your wonderful way of life and listen to the "silence" at night time for in the future that "silence for God" will be no longer.. This whole city is one of buzz and hum and it is not only in my house and its not me having ear problems because some people just cannot hear it---great for them.. Not many people seem to believe it or even care about it so be it..They have some kind of mapping out different energies of cities especially "Mine"--wow---a eye opener but cannot find it..They also have materials that they make into bed netting for people at night time and it is very expensive.. The foil is encased in plastic and not exposed to the outside so I do not need a ground for it. The whole house does have 2 ground rods wired from the electric panel.
I know what you mean. I read an interesting article about a couples teenage daughter. They thought she was having metal problems and they did everything they possibly could to find the problem! Finally they found that her bedroom was next to the garage and on the other side of the wall that the head of her bed is against is the large electric panel for the whole house! Yes her head was so close to the panel that the EMF electro magnetic field generated by the panel were messing up her mind! Thank god they found that out!
I have cat 3 hard wiring for all phones and cat 5 wiring for all computers too!

I dont want to alarm you but, since there is no electric meter in the meter pan, the antenna pole is dead (not transmitting or online) perhaps you have another issue going on.
My suspicion on vibration is one of three things, issue with the water main, but I dont know anything about water utility, issue with the new metal pole possibly conflicting and acting like a conduit of vibrations from the water main, again dont know, but the pole as is, is not powered yet since there is no meter and more then likely electric connections need to be made either at a handhole or transformer to power the meter pan (there is never free electric) lastly the 3rd would be an issue internally at your house, either an old electric meter pan with a bad lug, bad meter, or buzzing breaker, I say this because you just recently had a lot of work done to your house, maybe things were moved around or added to and since things maybe be older the new additional load is causing an issue either as a final product of the new addition or during the construction while tools were being ran.

I wouldn't count on it...electricians will jump out a meter base to get power if the utility doesn't get there with a meter fast enough to suit them...we've even had them cut locks off and do it!
Hey @clancey , do you have any florescent lighting in your house? Like the ones with the 4' or 8' tube/bulbs? Those can be very noisy sometimes...

Don2222 Yea when I get my gadget to measure the different energies in this house I will go downstairs and get a reading on my electric panels for I have two boxes as well as a extension in my bathroom behind a small electrical outlet type of thing for it was so large (the panel) that I had it slimmed down to the size of a electric outlet only its a plate just for beauty--that's a laugh---this whole house is "One of Beauty"--lol...Love your responses and very educational --thank you people...Now Kenny 2339 you are falling in another basket of responses here---Your very knowledgeable but "over my head"...Now the company that owns the lamp post came out and fixed it and told the neighbor that someone stole a whole piece out of it..but now it is fixed and I took a picture of it..This pole has four or five different aspects of energy in it and it you look on the whole thing you will notice rounds bumps in it going up the pole and each one has a different use and sort of energy being used---with different colors of energies coming out of it for I saw this in a picture that I cannot no longer find on the net..The back of the pole is filled with sort of like screens to vent it so i have taken pictures of the pole today.. Looking from the back of the pole that whole concrete area they did some type of work in and that metal plate in the ground as well..Now my property starts where the grass starts.. They drilled four holes in front of my house for it had no trees only on my property and put metal plates in the ground as covers (small round ones)..right in front.. Talk about sneaky there was a article about the city hiding these 5G things all over the city so people could not see them underneath bridges behind churches in light poles etc under roofs of schools etc etc. and that article now is gone and just blue color empty of words..I will post it here so that you can see for yourself. It might be fun to get whipped into a tizzy by mysterious conspiracies, but if you look at how things actually work, "5G" ought to be much lower on your list of worries than your current cellphone or wireless access point.

I know lizard people from Mars taking over the government sounds exciting, but here's another story for you:

Right now, because you never read the instructions for your wifi's WAP, never updated the firmware, and never changed the factory admin password, the neighbor kid is free to use your internet connection to do stuff. Porn if you're lucky, illegal stuff if you're not. People get arrested for this.

You cannot really say that I have not updated my WiFi and I have many times...As far as conspiracies theories are concerned some of them just might be true not all but some and this depends on how you believe things and there is not one way of thinking about things...Your a radio microwave person with experience so I won't doubt about what you write--your the one in the field...People get a instinct on things and sometimes they have to follow that instinct for survival for just themselves and I can only share with people how I would handle the situation for they have their very own method of handling things for their selves and their families. My opinion concerning their live styles does not really matter for they are in "the field" so to speak and they know what they can do and also can afford to make things better for their lifestyle. People give opinions and others are free to take them or leave them...This is freedom...Thank you for the advice and I will take that into consideration because of your experience in the field and every comment is welcomed on this thread no matter if you think it is a conspiracy theory or whatever but to me the different responses are educational and enlightening and that's all I want is something to make the different assorted people to think about the different ways they would handle it.. I don't think you understand what the sidewalk network is either. It is basically linking compatible devices together to create a neighborhood network for those devices.

I understand very very little about it and I read between the lines with not quite understanding what it its saying especially about computer stuff and when I need help I get a computer person here and ask a lot of questions and they update everything for me as well..But that sounded terrible your wifi giving out all your information if someone is on the sidewalk with a wifi--wow So glad there is a fix for those things and no I do not want one...But that neighborhood network sounds interesting but no I do not understand it--and you know what I don;t think I want to understand it but trying to keep up with all these gadgets is hard work..Now when I get one of those helmets and go virtual that will be different--thanks clancey

I have not forgot about this 5G thing and I find posting #87 on here very interesting and i do not know how to bring it up to this new posting but so far the only thing that I was able to hard wire was my extra telephone by way of a house telephone jack that still works--Yes--I love the old fashion phone with great big numbers and it hangs up secure as well--love using it again..I have been so busy and no transportation right now until my truck is fixed but I have not forgot about this making my house more protective against energies coming in from all over and making me hear a slight hum sound and no one can hear it but me..and I hear it...I did a little research and they have people that come over and test your homes for the different agendas that people might desire and I might very well try out one these outfits to take energy readings of my home so that I might have a chance to evaluate my house further and maybe abate some of the situations. I called up the telephone and computer companies for someone to be sent out like repair to hard wire my computer and main phone but it seems they do not do that anymore. They suggested the geeks but I rather have a private type of company that does this type of thing--so I am searching and just wanted you all to know I have not forgot about this situation. I purchased a punch down tool for $40 and got the telephone with computer jacks as I showed in the pics above. It is very easy to do.
Although for telephones you can just purchase jacketed 2 conductor wire and run it right to the telephone like when I was a kid growing up. The new wire used nowadays is 4 conductor jacketed wire, the 3rd wire is a ground wire and the 4 th wire is not used. We had one telephone in the house and it had a very long cord on it. Simple but it worked fine!
The hardware store still sells the telephone jacks if you want to have fun with them.

I have all of these things ( DSL, smart meter, multiple WiFi networks, Zwave / Zigbee network ) and I have zero issues with any kind of humming or have had any health issues related to them. Guests at my house haven't complained of humming either. The only humming I hear these days are the cicadas, and that will be over in a few months. If these things caused issues don't you think enough people would of complained by now that they would've been pulled from the market ? The internet is full of BS conspiracy theories and I think you've gotten sucked into that.

As other have pointed out, I think you're having some kind of electric issue in your house. I'd get and electrician out and have him check your electric panel.
