My brother got this wood stove in the house that he bought. He didn't get a brochure with the stove.
The house is 9 years old, so the stove is at least that old but might be older, don 't know.

My brother isn't sure how these air controls work. This is the upper air control

This is the lower air control
Anybody know what model Jotul this stove is? How do you work these air controls? What year was this stove manufactured?

Yep F3. That isn't a lower air control. It is for startup air. Leave it open during a burn and you will burn too hot.

Manual available here. (broken link removed to http://jotul.com/us/products/stoves/_attachment/29766)
