Help identifying issues / solutions to chimney faults

Those bricks may have bulged out a bit the day they were laid, or they just weren't laid straight. They haven't moved since they were put there. They were just sort of dropped in from above and that's how they landed. It's not the best method, but if no one could reach down that far to place them neatly in a course, then they'll do the job. If they were still moving, the entire fireplace face would be cracked everywhere. They look fine in that pic.
 
Just curious, but what kind of $$ range we talking about for a stove like this?
It depends on the finish and time of year. Now is the pricey time. Figure around $2500 in enamel.
