As the title explains, there is no battery pack connected to the Robertshaw DS-845 control module . I can see that I can purchase one online ,but not sure how to connect it. The wiring diagram on the manual is different than the one inside the box (see attached). If this is not feasible,my next question is if I can plug the junction box plug into a small Kobalt 300 watt inverter power station? This is all in case of a power outage.

The wiring harness for the module should two open female spade connectors. That’s where the battery pack is connected.

Wish there were but there are not two open spade connectors. The wiring diagram shows four wires connected to the spade connectors going to the IPI and the module only has 4 spots. Unless I am missing something.

Yes, I also noted the wiring diagrams are different . The one in the manual and the one next to the junction box.

The battery pack should be connected to the same two switch wires that are used to turn on the fireplace.

From the diagram that you posted, it looks like those would be the wires plugged into the "TH" spade and the spade on the far left side of the Robert Shaw module.

Awesome. Thanks . What is your opinion of connecting the plug that goes into the junction box and plugging that into the 300 w inverter power station? Would that even work?

I don't know what the output of the inverter is. The plug that goes into the junction box is a 24 volt transformer, that takes 120 volts and steps it down to the 24 volts that the module needs.
