My Equinox front latch won't hold closed. I have just replaced the latch assemply and the gasket. I believe the problem is in part 56 (from exploded diagram) the frame that has the latch receiver on it.

I forgot to ask my question: Has anyone here ever done this replacement.? How can I avoid screwing up the removal of the screws? I don't want to strip them. I am trying to get some local help for this, but I am not at all sure I will ssucceed in getting it.
