Hi mcollect: Glad to hear that the Jotul keeps your house warm. We live in a split level home. One side is all windows as well as the other half I assume you have replaced your windows? Ours is the originals that need to be replaced.

I am breaking in the insert as I type

Mkek, no the windows are original, 15 years old double glazed they are floor to ceiling on one side and at the top of the clerestory and another layer at 10 ft., semi cathedral Arts and crafts design. I thank the architects for their thoughtfulness. I'll post picts soon as the insert looks like it was part of the original design.

Jotul was installed mid morning. Took the installer about 2 hours. Here are two photos.

Looks great!! I remember when mine was in that pristine shape only a few short months ago... Good luck with it.

Yes, the windows run from the floor to the ceiling as well. The house was contemporary for its time back when....
