Installing a a Valcourt FP14 zero clearance fireplace in a wood frame chase. The chase is fully dry walled and fire taped with clearances according to the manual. My question is drywall considered a non combustible? The drywall is 5/8 fire rated with a 2 hour bur rating. I am posing 2 pictures the area in question is outlined in yellow. Currently planning on using a non combustible mantle like granite or stone. Any advice is appreciated Thanks https://files.valcourtinc.com/upload/documents/manuels/45355A_06-07-2018.pdf
