Don't get one with lights on a baseball cap or one that clips onto a cap. Get one with a head strap, a Petzel or one from LLBEAN. I use my Petzel to read in bed with, it is so comfortable that I try to shut my bedside light off when i'm done reading. I forget that i have a headlap on.
