hi all, hope everyone is staying warm with their pb105s.....recently i had to switch to manual mode since i burnt out the first ignightor of the season (i have read that these tend to burn out quickly). luckily mine was still under warranty. i have noticed that my PB seems to actually going through less pellets and burning more efficiently on this mode, has anyone else?? is it better and less work for the ignightor to leave it in this mode since temps will be staying cold (i am in northern NY). what are other people doing?? also, i know the OAT works with manual mode, but does the boiler just continue to work until it gets to the max temp (with OAT figured in). the only prob i see with manual mode is lighting it, though i guess i could just use auto mode until the fire is going and then switch it over....last thing, will the warranty still be good on my stove if i install the ignightor and not someone from my dealer?? thanks for answers to these questions or comments on how other people are running theirs.
