I have it down to pretty much room mode only. I switch from auto to manual as needed depending on temps and if I am home or away. When in room temp auto I adjust the feed rate accordingly anywhere from right at the red hash mark <.5 up to 3.5 depending.
I have simplified to the feed rate adjust and flipping the switch leaving the blower at full go. I played with all this so much my results above here keep me happy and pellet usage fine. The above results are what I found works for me. Not much of a knob spinner. Spins are for fun cars and bikes.
