Hello,
New to forum. I have what I believe to be a Majestic power vent masonry fireplace with metal firebox. The only model # I can find is on the flue handle # 75-51.114C; original to house ~ late 70's. I'm looking to replace the bi-fold glass door/ screen. Mainly because the brass latches have fatigued and broken off to keep the doors closed and the wire screen fell apart. The fireplace works great, uses (Mostly) outside air. We use it with the doors closed so wire screen isn't as important. 1st off I really don't know what to call it when looking for replacement door set. Is it going to be hard to find? I'm wondering if I should just try come up with a new latch system of some kind.

Outside Dimensions are 40-1/2" Wide x 29" Tall
Firebox Dimensions are 36" Wide x 25-1/4" Tall

Can anyone help me identify and point me in the right direction? I'm assuming I need:

  • Tempered glass since we use it closed.
  • Vents (top and bottom adjustable, see pic pointing out slider).
  • Seal material around the top and sides

P.S. It would be nice to replace the power vent fans with something quieter if someone had any insight on that too.

Thanks,
PJ
