After going through a few bags, I must say they are very low ash, lower than I thought, but they do form the annoying ash cake in the pot.
 
I bought a ton of freedom fuel at lowes. HORRIBLE STUFF. much of it disintegrated into saw dust, clogging my pellet chute. Bags not properly sealed, water snuck in to most of them.
I RECOMMEND AGAINST THIS PRODUCT.

Sounds like water/ moisture ruined product.
