First fire this season! Anyone else?

first fire was in august, overnight temps dropping to upper 30's for a few nights.
 
I guess I should get around to cleaning mine from last year's burning. Somehow, I think putting it off will delay the cold weather.
 
My stove is in my finished basement, I have turned it on a few times over the summer when the AC made my basement 62.

Had the central ac colling upstairs to 72, had the stove in the basement heating to 72. :)
 
I have found the stove does a fantastic job of taking the dampness out. Ran it right through July, not for long, but long enough to do the job. August was the only month the stove got a vacation. Nothing like the cuddle down temp it gives.
