Tomorrow I will be filling my new system (EKO 40) for the 1st time and would like to know if anyone can recommend a solution to clean the system. I would think that all the acid paste as well as cutting oil from the threaded pipe should be removed before adding any chemicals.

Help!

There are hydronic prep cleaners available. I have some Herchem stuff laying around. Rhomar makes some. Over at heatinghelp.com they recommend a 1-2% solution of Trisodium phosphate and fire the system a few hours then do a really good flush. Got to get the pipe crap out though.
