I agree Todd. The video could have been better. When I took it I didn't know I was going to share it on this site so I wasn't real close to it. I was just playing with my new cell phone really. Anyway, I probably load mine more than 3 times a day when I am home all day with it. Right now I am off work cause of a surgery I had so I just reload it when I feel like it. Plus it is colder right now so I burn it faster and I had been burning soft maple. That doesn't burn very long anyway. When I burn good hardwood and I work my normal schedule, I reload at 5:30AM, 4:00PM, and 10:00 or 10:30PM. This is my 3rd year with it and I love it.
I do think a lot of people believe that just because the stove advertises 12 hour burn times or whatever that they only need to reload it 2 times a day. That is not true at all.
I know some of the guys I work with tease me cause of that claim. They are like "so you only need to use 1 piece of wood per day in your stove cause it is so efficient"
They are just joking of course. The bottom line - every install and house and comfort is different.
