Talked with the county inspector and applied for the permit, seems pretty strait forward. Follow the install directions and they will bless it after.

Making some headway, gonna be a few days waiting on parts now. Went with the duraplus pipe since the local TSC has it but they don’t have all the pieces to finish the job. Concrete coring company couldn’t access the wall so had to wrestle a demo hammer for a day. Gonna switch over to working on the hearth pad Tomorrow. The absolute Steele requires 18” from stove corner clearance so it sits out farther than most corner installs but it’s still out of the way.
