First day with no fire as temps went up so the heat pump can do some work. Early morning and we have a what's that noise moment. Got a bird in the stove again. My chimney is an 8" class A with a Selkirk stainless cap that has a band around it. You wouldn't think they'd get in there but it seems like every year there's either one new dumb bird or it's the same bird every year.
