This is fairly "normal" routine for me.. Once the burning is nearly done I start moving the outside stacks into the shelter but leave access when I need to get more wood.. Then I get all my outside stacks restacked.. It's a 3 week or so ritual and it's lots of hard work but feels great to get it done..I think its a good goal to have all your next winters wood all set at this time. My sister and I are debating the pros and cons of moving piles around. If you have a shed structure or permanent cover theres no way around the rotation. But this is a good timeframe for myself to be wrapping it up. May 3rd is usually apple blossom full throttle. I guess by the time you quit using the woodstove. Also to correspond with grass cutting.
Ray, are you ahead of things? at this time or is this your usual timeframe?
