That's for Atikokan plant that was a former coal burner - industrial pellets. I have no nice words to say about Resolute - they **** and pillage the forests and close the local mill. It had a buyer but not when Resolute holds the license to dictate the cost of wood. Province needs to smarten up on letting a corporation hold on to the wood rights when it is no longer operating or ensuring that the rights get transferred to the new owner ... Premier Wynne needs to chastise the MNR minister...

More than the trees - over 200 former employees have just lost any opportunity at a good life because our local trees are being held hostage by a horrible corporate citizen...
I guess what I am saying is you found your problem, albeit not necessarily a cheap fix, but I'm still trying to find my problem...hopefully it will come tomorrow.
As a final page in this chapter, success sometimes comes with a price. Having exhausted every possible avenue for troubleshooting this issue, I visited my local dealer this morning, old board and ESP in hand. I had been told on the phone by one of the employees that they could test both. My experience was soon dampened after my arrival as I was told by a different employee the board or ESP could not be tested. he looked both over and asked how I could test the ESP and I told him what I did and he questioned where this knowledge came from. I quickly responded it was from those of you on this forum who went through the School of Hard Knocks & Experience. He pondered things a few seconds, went into the back, and returned with a new board. I then asked the "what if" questions and he said they would take the board back if there was no change. I asked the position of the DIP's and he said to follow the enclosed information. $179.00 later and I'm out the door.
I returned home, set up the DIPS, installed the board and ESP, and fired it up. As I followed his suggestion for the DIP set ups, I found I had to make 1 change, #5 had to be turned off as I have a black wire ESP. That change was necessary. 1 hour later I was grinning with success! My recent stove side temps (last season and this season) hovered at 200 degrees on my magnetic thermometer...they now read 300 and steady...and best of all...no blinking trouble lights! Hope it continues!
So, that being said...Many, Many Thanks to All of you for your help! Hope this will help others!

Glad to hear your back burning without an idiot light blinking. Would like to know why the DDM that a dealer is supposed to have could not have tested your board? Maybe someone else knows. Last time I seen one listed the price on one was around $350.

Not every employee at a stove shop is a tech and even among tech's there is misunderstandings of the parts sometimes, there is a reason harman and quad offer trainings. It has been a year or two but last time I asked for it as a tech working for a harman dealer harman tech gave me a spread sheet with a temperature to resistance reading range for all three sensors (both esp's and the room sensor) these resistance readings are not 100% fool proof as things can change as the temperature changes, especially to say like 400 degree but it is a very good test even done only at room temperature, and personally have never had a problem with it being accurate.

To test the board it would have to be plugged into a stove, to take out a board, put in the other board, test the board, take the board out, and put back in the old board you could very very easily be looking at an hour labor to do all that swapping and the small potential to break something, as soon as a dealer touches it if anything else happens disgruntled customers start pointing fingers at the dealer who at some point touched it a little as the one who must of made it worse, the dealer was not super knowledgeable about testing the esp but he was right about testing the board from a stand point of practicality and letting an electrical part be sold to a customer to install, especially one as sensitive as the control board, and saying he will take it back if it doesn't work is being quite generous.

Glad to hear you are up on training! While realizing that every employee is not a tech, they should be aware of what services are available at that dealer ... Not saying they need to know the ins & outs of the testing, just that it is available or not.

$250 lesson. Got the new board installed and stove had issues yet. Tracked down that I had frayed wires on the room temp probe on the connectors to the stove that were touching and messing with the board functions. Will be a easy fix but cant return new board. The pot that controls the exhaust fan works so will have to replace that switch on the original board. Well on my way to have spare parts for the stove that Harman discontinued.
