I have a Englander 24-acd stove with a catalytic combustor. It was my parents stove and the combustor has not been changed in about 10 years. When I had a couple fires in the spring, I had to really get the stove roaring for quite a while before I could get the combustor to lite off and stay going with the bypass closed. I think it is time for a new one.
My stove calls for a 6x3 round combustor. I was hoping to run one of the steel combustors but can only find in a 6x2.
Would it be ok to run a 6x2 or do I have to run the 6x3 ceramic?
