One thing my water guy suggested was that I get rid of all the 90 degree elbows. Apparently the iron migrates to, and piles up in the elbows. I searched for long sweeps but came up empty. Each 90 degree elbow I will replace with two 45 degree elbows with a short straight section in between.

If i run into a situation where the iron is plugging the pipes I will remove the copper and use 1" coil plastic with insert fittings from the tank to the filter. This increases the volume and allows me to remove and clean the pipes easily.Pex with sharkbite fittings work too just keep the fittings to a minimum , sweep the pipe.
