I use the Palm Method . . . if I can easily palm it and carry it in my hand (and I don't have Andre the Giant like hands) I usually leave it in the round. If it's too big to palm, it gets split. When in doubt . . . I split . . . unless I am tired of splitting and then I may just toss a large round on the pile anyways.
