Ouch! News just said it was 100' tree and sliced rght to the basement.

big old trees around the house isnt good.

I'm really surprised they cleared it out so fast. I figured they'd do what they had to do and come back for the rest in the morning.
 
ductape and plywood will fix that right up in a jiffy.
 
Yesterdays wind did alot of damage round here. Seen a big old oak laid over in someones front yard that had to be close to 36"dia (maybe bigger!) The wind twisted that sucker right off at the stump.
 
I had put an add on craigslist for white birch a few days before the storm and not a peep. Within hours of the storm I had 2 mails about down WB trees. Hopefully one or more work out and I can get a load or 2.
