I bought a new hp40 almost 2 months ago. The auger stopped working and the set screw is located behind the exhaust motor, behind a screw for the auger motor and angled toward the fire box. I can't access the set screw. I removed the exhaust pipe from the stove but there are still the obstacles I spoke of. I can't get help from tech support from comfortbilt, they respond then stop responding. Has anyone removed the auger on this stove? If you have, how? In the image, the purple line points to the set screw, I have an Allen wrench at the set screw.

Are you sure it is the auger? They can stop because vacuum switch it not working, hopper switch is out of adjustment, stove exhaust is obstructed. Apply power to the auger motor till the set screw is facing an accessible area, use an allen bit set that are longer and will reach. Needle nose visegrips
