I tried operating my CLX6000 system using the backup battery pack. I unplugged the 120VAC and 6V from the modules, switched from "remote" to "on" on the IFT control modules but the fireplace did not operate. I checked the voltage out of the battery pack is correct. The setup does not have a wall switch so there are just the positive and negative from the battery pack going into the IFT. Is there an ignite button somewhere that needs to be pressed when using the battery backup? I didn't see anything in the instructions other than put the batteries in and switch the control to "on". Does the wall switch wiring need to be jumped? Thanks.

If the battery pack is wired correctly, the pilot should ignite when the wall switch, thermostat or remote is turned to the on position.
