Clearances to NON-Combustibles - Harman P68

I just picked up a 2006 Harman P68 as a secondary heat source for my home. I plan on doing a corner install. I can see the minimum clearances to combustibles, but what are the clearances required for non-combustibles? I plan to replace the drywall with cement board and tile on top of it... I fear the stove may be too large if I can't get the clearances down.

For a corner install it is listed as 13" without shields at 9" with shields for combustibles. Curious to know what this would reduce to for non-combustibles...

AFIK, You can put it right against the non-combustible wall. If you are adding harder backer & tile to wood studs. You’ll hafta leave a 1” air gap between the studs & the back. As well as 1” off the floor & ceiling allow for air flow.

Even if you build a non-combustible wall, you need to adhere to the clearances for the combustibles behind the wall (studs, etc)

I would caution that you probably want it away from the walls anyway for maintenance back there - and the manual states that.

As I read that 3" is from the back corner of the hopper to the wall. I think that 13" is for alcove walls alongside it. They don't want anything between the walls and the stove for those 13". I could be wrong.

Here is a picture from the 2014 manual - which is more clear to me and says that the 13" is from the back corner of the stove (not the hopper).
