yep my fake one looks better now lol it's funny when I was a kid my dad would burn the Christmas tree on New Years eve and we would be watching it burn saying wow that was in our house two hours ago

Wow that didn't take long. Maybe that tree next to the stove is not a great idea. That sucker would be so dry a static charge might be enough to set it off. :)
 
As far away as possible, like at the in-laws or your kids place...Christmas BAH HUMBUG!
