Sorry to clog up the forums with seemingly sensless questions...

I ordered new flashing for the chimney I'm going to put in. The roof is a 6-12 pitch so I ordered Simpson P/N 9049V for 0-12 to 6-12 pitch roof. Sure doesn't look like the right part for the job to me. Mockup in the garage this weekend.....

The storm collar will have to be installed at a pretty good angle to cover the gap on the downslope side of the flashing neck.

Anyone think I should spend another $75 and get the next steepest flashing?

Or just snip to top end of the flashing a little. Thats a good sized storm collar, should still be fine.

Beer followed be coffee, that rings a bell.

I'd agree with frank that it looks to cover well.

Sealing with high heat silicone?
