People including myself post pictures of pets enjoying the heat from a stove. Not only does my cat love the wood stove he loves the wood. Sometimes the even wants to be wood. Catwood.

I've never seen this much usage from a oil tank or propane tank. Wood - not just for heating, building, or crafting.

That's cute. All we gotta do is get him to help you bring in the wood. Its so funny when they sprawl out in front of the stove. In my opinion, they have the best seat in the house!

Heck . . . sometimes they look so comfortable that I get down and lay down beside them in front of the woodstove to soak up the heat. The floor tends to not be so soft though.

Our shelter cat Emma- quite the heat sink, she is.

She pulls splinters off the wood I bring in the house and she can hold them with her thumbs.
