Hello,

I have a blaze king princess and i need new cat thermometer.
The stove is about 15 years old.

What is the price and where can i buy?

I live in europe 😅

assuming it's 4" probe, Condar https://www.condar.com/Catalytic_Thermometers.html will have them too at more decent pricing - but be sure to measure as their "BK" indication is not always correct (I see the 4" lists some VC stoves but not BK).

Not sure who ships to Europe.
You can try Amazon too?

This is the size.

Is there any way to repair this thermometer?

I checked on amazon and i could not find anything.
If you buy from US the shipping cost and other taxes that makes it 40$ or more expensive

I have never seen it being repaired here as it's cheap enough to just get a new one.

What's broken?

Actually i dont think anything is broken but the screew was loose so the marker was turned and was on wrong place.

Now i have put marker on the point just before inactive zone.
Before the marker started like ”04:00 or 05;00 if you imagine its a watch.

Is this common?

The little tickmark just below the thick white bar is where it should be at room temp

Hello again, one more question.

I may still be interrested to buy new one because my thermometer is allmost unreadable.

On amazon that sells to europe there is only 2 1/8 inch or bigger.
My thermometer probe is just bellow 2 inches

Can i buy the 2 1/8 inch and cut if its to big?

I think yes, because I believe the tip is only copper to conduct the heat to the coil.
But the length of the cat probe is set for the tip to be centered behind the cat. I don't think a 3 mm difference is significant. I'd just use it as is at 1/8" over length.
