Burning monster splits

The big splits are great i have them set aside on a separate stack. I'm not so sure that they are 9x9 though. I use them when we want an all day burn or an overnight burn. I find that one big piece burns slower but longer and that it gives off a moderate heat for a longer time. And definitely only added on a good bed of hot coals.
 
I like big splits and I cannot lie...

Although, as mentioned the
Blaze King doesn’t really care what size the splits are.


I agree with this! As long as its dry and fits in my stove i use it.
 
All of my splits are about that size, but im also feeding a huge non epa add on furnace with like a 5 cu ft firebox. If it fits, it ships lol. 8 to 10 hr burns are no problem.

Splitting everything by hand, I run into some pieces that have to stay big.

This is actually a crotch from an Ash tree i just jammed in there. Going to -13 tonight, figure a good time to burn it.
