All those buildings are real nice but if I had one of that type last winter in Iowa it would have been full of snow.

It's hard to fill it with snow if its full of wood!!

I like not having sides to allow decent airflow, I would like to put some "roll up" sides of canvas or something like that to keep the precipitation off. I did put lattice up on the visible side of mine in my previous post, so the wife could put some climbing roses in.

As for direction, my roof faces south, it is metal and seems to heat the whole shed up like an attic, plus we have a decent breeze here most of the time. I don't think direction is too big of a deal as long as it gets some sun and air flow.. just my .02$

The biggest problem with building a larger woodshed is the extra work I made for myself to fill it... S**T

Here is a few shots of my half empty woodshed. 24' deep 16' wide 7' sidewalls. I made this out of old barn lumber and some tele poles.

All that is left is some spring cleaning and to fill it back up.

Looks great good job!

Was going to start a separate thread on this but I figured here is just as good. I'm planning a 24 x 8 x 8 three sided N/S facing woodshed.

Here is the area clearing this past weekend, I'm tired of dealing with rotting pallets and tarps!
