Not as nice as a non Cat thats for sure, but a controlled burn for a low turn down is what I was after.

I hope it was OK to jump in Hiram.

Well good grief Ralph. What are you looking for? Heat or a TV show.

Well Norton, my thoughts exactly. Thats why I own a ugly stove.

That's a damn fine looking pic of your loaded BK there, neighbor. I can only imagine what that fire would feel like standing there in person. Credit where credit is due, that thing of yours is gittin' 'er done!

The Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel of wood stoves right there.

Does that stove have burn tubes up top on the inside?
No, it will have this...
Interesting. I can't fill my firebox fully due to the tubes. Can get it close and all, but obviously they take up an inch or two up top there. I know the blaze king has a huge firebox anyway, but it looks like you are able to use much of it! Do you get the beautiful secondary burn show going in them too?

Ohhhh.... I forgot, or didn't realize that the Blaze King was a cat stove, or that it was what was glowing in the picture before! Duh, sorry, I didn't realize. Yup the function is certainly a bigger deal than the light show!

Post like this make me glad I purchased a BK for my first stove...especially when I thought I wanted a Soapstone stove.

Posts like this make me wonder why I am not sad that I didn't get either one. :red:
