Good evening
I have been running a woodstock soap stone hybrid for a several years and I'm just not happy with it.
Im in VA using my stove probably 8-10 weeks a year. We have a fully unfinished basement with the stove free standing in basement with the flu built into a chase running about 35 feet to the peek. I love the long burn times of the Catalytic stoves but I'm tired of dealing with all the gaskets etc.. like on my wood stock I'm always having issues with them. I run a double damper setup on my chimney pipe to slow the flow.
I want a big firebox high BTU capability but nice long burn times and a stove that's easy and simple to run and maintain. I know the T6 has good reviews but I also know the Blaze kings are fantastic as well.
What would you do if you were me?
